Salem Harbor CDC Celebrates Completion of Palmer Cove Condominium

On January 29, 2008 more than fifty supporters gathered to celebrate the completion of fifteen new housing units at the former site of Keefe’s Restaurant. The revitalization of this familiar corner of Palmer and Congress St. is a benchmark in SHCDC’s sustained efforts to revitalize Salem’s Point Neighborhood. Each of these units will be sold to income eligible first time homebuyers and remain affordable for a minimum of fifty years.

Salem Harbor CDC would like to express its appreciation to those who have invested in this project. They have made a significant contribution to a regional need for affordable housing and the local need to stabilize the Point Neighborhood. They are Citizens Bank, Department of Housing and Community Development, Mass Housing, City of Salem and the North Shore HOME Consortium.
